The rollators that we recommend for hire at Ortopedia Lanzarote, provide many advantages over traditional walkers.
For those undergoing rehabilitation following an accident or disease and starting to venture out onto the street, traditional walkers do not contain a seat where they can rest, but rollators do.
Traditional walkers are not easy to use outside, in the open air, on uneven pavement, or gravel. The rollators we provide at Ortopedia Lanzarote, have been designed for outdoor use, on uneven surfaces and can withstand heavy weights. The front has swivel wheels to facilitate turning, avoiding the need to lift up as in the case of traditional walkers.
They are very light (less than 7 kg), include a seat, bag and hand brake, and can be folded down for storage.
At Ortopedia Lanzarote we offer rollators to cater for individual requirements.
